A backup feature allows saving the data on your own system "just in case". An import feature makes it somewhat easier to try with existing data. TickTick easily imports and exports CSV files (it also has features to directly import from a few popular products, but the CSV import is flexible and worked well for me). Because I've changed todo products more than a few times, the export/import feature has become very useful. TickTick has both and more, including browser plugins to easily add a task from an email or web page. Another important feature for me is Android and web app clients. With TickTick, the reminders always fire. With a prior product I used, the reminders would sometimes fire and often not - this was true for both the web app and the Android app. TickTick's reminders work so well they are a nuisance! :-) But it makes me do them. ToDoList is Free Open-Source Task Management Software with Task Tree, Flat List, Gantt Chart, Mind Map, Kanban, Charting, Week Planner, Workload and. I have many reminders setup for due dates on one-time and recurring tasks so they regularly happen. Another most important feature to me is reminders. TickTick has this advanced recurrence and more. They'll do "2nd Saturday of every month" but no setting for the recurring time unit frequency. Many todo apps do not support something like "2nd Saturday of every two months" (for example: Todoist, ToDo Cloud, Checkvist, Wunderlist, any.do, Producteev, Asana). One of the most important features to me is advanced recurrence. I've tried many different ones over the years, and here are some reasons why I tried TickTick and continue to use it instead of the others I tried. JJ's Experience TickTick is a very full featured todo app and it "just works".
